New Blog – Old Name
Our old Website is going away !
Today is a holiday of sorts. Since 1989 I have used EVENT VIDEO to identify myself as a professional within the video community. In 1999 I added Cool Games to the name in response to a kid focused business. Originally it was to be a place to go to play video games on a computer and game console. The main tie in was “interactive television“. The name “EVENT VIDEO” seemed to cause some confusion since it implied recording with video events especially weddings. Lately in 2010 it is less useful as I now do even more then record events. So, when I was approached to sell my domain EVENTVIDEO.COM to a company that actually records VIDEO EVENTS, I felt it was time to let go. So now to regain the contemporary space I revert to the name Cool Games EVENT VIDEO which has appeared in numerous places since 1999.
